"We all
dream of the amazing dog that we hope to produce, with
each breeding we plan. Well here he is, Walker". His
name was no accident. When Vicki purchased him, she said
I think I would like to call him "Walker" and I knew the
only registered name for him would be the one he has. I
will never forget Vicki's response to the registered
name. She gave a not so sure giggle and said "you think"
and I said "I Know".
We
feel so blessed to be his breeders with Locklyn Guzman
being his co-breeder. Little did I know when I first saw
his Dam "Jolie" 12 wks old, that I would get to bring
her home and raise her for a litter lease. I asked, I
got and then I was lucky enough to use "Sketch" with
her. He was owned by Karen Haze at that time. What a
dream in the making.
Walker
was sold to Vicki Weis and she has done everything
correctly with him. She made sure that he was at the
right place at the right time and handled by the right
person, Karen Munster. We can't thank them both enough.
Vicki handled him in Fargo to his CH at 9 months old and
Karen to his
Grand Ch at 10 months old. At just over a year old his
has his Bronze Grand Ch, Multiple BOBs, Multiple Group
placements with 2 Group 1st, and two BISS to his credit.
We can't wait for him to grow up and be the King he is.
One last
thing I want to say. For those breeders that do not feel
that saving the weaker puppies, just know "Walker" was
only 3 oz. at birth and was worth every sleepless night
that Tim and I spent caring for him. Thank God we did
that.
